Boreal was basically written all because of one riff Stephen started playing that he really liked. After He brought it to Drew, they almost completely changed the song. Haha. After that, everything else came together really easily. Not only did this track almost write itself, it was one of the last tracks they wrote for the album and probably one of the first songs that finally hit the sound they wanted Celestial Vernacular to be.

Boreal picks up where Constellations! leaves us off - sorting through the details of feeling really lost.
